Return to Trip Locations Catfirth and Gletness A gentle, fairly sheltered trip on the east side of the mainland, ideal for an evening or a half day. Catfirth was a seaplane base in World War I, and is soon to be the site of Shetland's first distillery. The Isles of Gletness are well-known in song and story. This is a good spot to look for otters, especially in the evening. |
